A founding director and shareholder, Berge Larsen has over 30 years’ experience of the oil and offshore industry. He served as Executive Chairman of DNO International ASA from 2002 – 2011 and CEO from 1996 – 2002. He also served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Norwegian Rig Owners’ Association and the Bergen Ship Owners’ Association and was Managing Director of Odfjell Drilling & Consulting Company AS from 1989-1995.
Mr Larsen holds a BSc in Chemical Engineering and a Master’s degree in Business Administration.
Judith Parry has over 30 years´experience in the oil and gas industry focused on financial PR & investor Relations, business development and banking. She established two start up companies and assisted the founder management in the start up of a further two companies.
Judith is a Chartered Director.
Sjur Storaas has considerable experience in oil and oil related industries as a senior manager or board member. He is currently a Partner at Head Energy.
Polycarpos Protopapas, Managing Director
Mr Polycarpos Protopapas holds a BSc (Hns) degree in Economics & Accountancy from City University of London, and is a Fellow member of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants.
Mr Protopapas has over 25 years work experience with key positions at both public and private companies or group of companies at various sectors of the industry both in Cyprus and in the U.K. He has worked mainly in banking, maritime and auditing sectors.
In parallel, Mr Protopapas has been participating for more than 15 years in board of directors meetings in his capacity as Chief Financial Officer, Chief Executive Officer, independent non- executive director.
George holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST) and has been a Fellow member of the Association of Chartered Accountants of ICAEW since 1997. He is a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus (ICPAC) where he was the Chairman and a member of a number of the committees of ICPAC. He is also a member of the Institute of Directors.
George started his professional career in Manchester UK working for Arthur Andersen. After working for them for eight years in the UK and Cyprus, he moved to industry where he has worked as a COO, Group CFO and CFO for a number of private and publicly listed companies (listed in Cyprus, AIM and TSX).
He has been involved in a number of different industry sectors including internet optimisation, cloud and security services, property development, mining, healthcare, airport management, retail, import and distribution of FMCGs, telecoms and food and beverage.
During this time, he has also served on a number of Boards of Directors, Audit Committees, Company and Committee Secretary and Advisory Committees.
